Loved the unique design of the facilities, very individual and well thought out. the small size of the room was actually a pro, as it was efficiently used and had everything needed for an overnight stay. - the fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, with a fridge, microwave, grill, and multiple stove options. - Great location for exploring the Cumbrian coast and the Lakes.
The lack of an oven was a disappointment, as it would have been nice to have that option for cooking. The WiFi inside the pod was not great, which was frustrating when trying to search for nearby attractions.

The location of this retreat is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Situated near beautiful beaches and lakes, it offers a tranquil setting surrounded by nature. the well-maintained rooms are spotless, with comfortable pull-down beds and a cleverly designed folding dining table. Guests can enjoy the luxury of a hot tub and the added bonus of having Shetland ponies and horses on site.
The shower may have occasional temperature fluctuations.

We had an amazing time at this cozy retreat. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing prompt responses to all our questions. The lodges were small but immaculately clean, with perfectly sized private gardens and hot tubs. It was a perfect getaway for our anniversary.
It felt just like home, with no complaints whatsoever.

The accommodation was warm, cosy, and had everything we needed. It was very clean, and the pull-out bed was surprisingly comfortable with bedding already on it. We liked that there was a table underneath the bed and a TV to watch. The sealed garden with a fence provided privacy, and the sun loungers were a nice touch. The hot tub was fantastic, and the owners promptly provided a requested umbrella. The location was convenient, with shops nearby and attractions like Ambleside and Windermere within a short drive. We would definitely recommend and stay again.
There were a few disappointing aspects during our stay. The main bed was uncomfortable, as we could feel every spring in the mattress, leading to a sore back.

The value for money at Parkknott Retreat was exceptional, with a clean and well-equipped pod that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Cumbrian coast and the Lakes, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with excellent service without being intrusive.
One small suggestion to enhance the breakfast option would be to offer a wider variety of hot dishes.

Lovely pods with everything you need, very clean and comfortable. the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, even allowing us to bottle-feed their pet lamb. They even left us a bottle of wine as a thoughtful gesture when they found out about our recent house purchase. the location was quiet and peaceful, offering a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The immediate area lacked amenities, requiring a short drive to find restaurants and bars. the sofa bed provided was quite uncomfortable, and the space in the pod was a bit tight for two people and a pet.

The location was peaceful and private, just a stone's throw away from a beautiful quiet beach. The staff, including Sue and Bryan, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay.
The breakfast option could have been improved with an extra pillow for added comfort during our meal.

We stayed at Parkknott Retreat for a weekend getaway with our dog. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The Pod was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the cozy atmosphere and appreciated the little touches, like the chairs provided for the patio. The location was great, with plenty of walks nearby and the town just a short distance away. Our pup loved exploring the site and getting to know the owner's dog. a fantastic experience and we can't wait to stay again.

I loved my stay at this super modern pod! The owners were warm and welcoming, and they even allowed my two dogs to join me. The pod itself felt brand new, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything from utensils to a grill and hob, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The fridge was stocked with goodies like butter, yogurt, bread, eggs, orange juice, and milk. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the Wi-Fi signal was excellent. The location was perfect, with a nearby coastal area for my pups to play, and local takeaways and a co-op just a stone's throw away. I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to other couples and dog owners.

We recently stayed at Parkknott Retreat for a short getaway. The property was well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. It was perfectly situated near beaches and lakes, ideal for our visit to walk Scafell Pike. The owners were lovely and provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The set up with the pull-down bed was ingenious and very comfortable, and the heated towel rail in the bathroom was a great idea. we had a fantastic stay!
Would recommend this hotel.

Cosy pod, spacious hot tub, modern and attractive accommodation, good privacy, small fire pit, nice decking.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
